In the historic city of Venice, one can find the home of some truly remarkable people who have found a way to coexist with the constant presence of the sea. For generations, merchants have navigated the winding canals providing goods and services through masterful negotiations, all whilst flocks of tourists come to marvel at the breathtaking ingenuity of the Venetian populous and the beauty of this floating city.

Through these series of photos, I hope to convey a small glimpse of daily life in today’s Venice.
